After the countless times I've ridden a jeepney, I have discovered that there are different kinds of jeepney drivers. Sometimes, they tend to be really noisy and chat with their passengers even if they do not want to talk. Sometimes, they are really deaf and have to say "saan? ilan?" for so many times it irks the people paying. Some drivers drive as though they are in the movie Cars and they have to speed up to win first place.
But one time this week, I had ridden a jeepney whose driver was not like the others. I heard him say, "Pasensya na po ha, pakiabot nalang, makikisuyo nalang, salamat. Pagpalain kayo ng Diyos." and it really touched me because it is a typical scenario in a jeep where people pass their payments. It's something really small but I smiled. I have already forgotten what he looked like but what he did would be remembered.
You see, the little things always matter. :)
